Google Calendar Integration

Google Calendar integration allows you to sync your events y Scheduled tasks from Rembrr directly into your Google Calendar account. Every time you create or edit an event or task with a date and time, it will be automatically sent to Google Calendar so you can see all your planning in one place.

1. What is Google Calendar integration?

This is a secure connection between your Google account and Rembrr that allows you to:

  • seeing you events created in Rembrr in your Google Calendar.

  • seeing you tasks with date and time in Google Calendar as scheduled events.

  • Keep your planning organized without duplicating work.

Important:
Synchronization is unidirectional:

Remember Google Calendar
Google Calendar → Remember

This means that Only what you believe in Rembrr will be sent to Google Calendar, but what you create in Google Calendar won't appear in the app yet.

The following elements are synchronized with Google Calendar:

Only these two types of items are sent to Google Calendar:

Events

Created from Event-type boards.
Include:

  • Date, Time, Location, Description
  • Integration link (if applicable)

Scheduled tasks

Only if they have:

Date, and Time

These tasks will appear as events in your Google Calendar.

What is NOT synchronized?

To avoid confusion, it's important to clarify that Google Calendar only accepts scheduled items with a date and time.
Therefore, the following will not be sent from Rembrr:

  • Tasks without a date or time (They don't have an exact schedule for Calendar)
  • Reminders without a specific time (e.g., reminding yourself of something during the day without a concrete schedule)
  • Assistant suggestions (Smart dashboard recommendations do not synchronize)
  • Internal notes or descriptions (Free text within the event or task is not replicated as a note in Calendar)
  • Attachments (Google Calendar does not receive files from external apps)
  • Frequencies without a time (e.g., “Weekly,” “Monthly” without specifying a time)

4. How to activate Google Calendar integration

Step 1:
Log in with your Google account (Gmail) when registering or from Settings.

Step 2:
Grant the necessary permissions to synchronize events and tasks.

  • Typical Permissions (simplified for the user):
  • Access your calendar
  • Create events on your calendar

Step 3:

Once authorized, you will see the “Integrated with (Google Calendar logo)” label on scheduled events and tasks.

5. How to create a synchronized event

Step 1:
On the bottom bar, go to Dashboards → select an Events dashboard.

Step 2:
Tap the + button to create a new event.

Step 3:
Complete the information:

  • Date and time
  • Place
  • Description
  • (Optional) Meeting link or files

Step 4:
Ensure the integration option is active.
See: “Integrated with (Google Calendar logo)”

Step 5:
Press Save.

In a few seconds, the event will be reflected in your Google Calendar.

How to create a synchronized task

Step 1:
Enter a Task board.

Step 2:
Tap the + button to create a new task.

Step 3:

  • Add:
  • Date
  • Hour
  • Description

The frequency also synchronizes, but as recurring events in Calendar.

Step 4:
Verify Integration: “Integrated with (Google Calendar logo)”

Step 5:
Press Save.

Your Google Calendar will show the task as a scheduled event.

7. Where to watch synchronized events?

  1. Open Google Calendar (mobile or web).
  2. Find your primary calendar associated with your Gmail account.
  3. Events and tasks sent by Rembrr will appear there automatically.

Can you:

  • Edit them in Calendar (but they will NOT return to Rembrr!)
  • Change their colors
  • Add assistants
  • Schedule it with your daily planner
