Integration with Google Meet allows events created in Rembrr to include Google Meet meeting links, which will automatically appear in your Google Calendar. This makes it easy to coordinate virtual meetings from your event boards, without the need to manually create links in each tool.
It's a function that allows Rembrr to add Google Meet links to your scheduled events.
Although the app currently Google Meet won't open from Rembrr, yes:
Add the link in the event
Send that event to the user's Google Calendar
Allow Google Calendar to recognize the link and enable the meeting
At this stage, integration is passive:
Synchronization works like this:
If you create an event in Rembrr and this includes a Google Meet link, that link will appear in Google Calendar as part of the event.
If you create an event in Rembrr And if you wish to add a Meet link later, you can edit it and add the link manually in the description or integration field.
Google Calendar automatically recognizes Meet links
Any link added in Rembrr will be correctly interpreted by Calendar.
To avoid confusion, it is important to clarify:
Remember, Google Meet links are not automatically generated.
(automatic generation might come later)
Remember, NO doesn't directly open Google Meet
(The user must open the meeting from Google Calendar)
Remember NO synchronizes links created directly in Calendar
Rembrr does not manage participants or send invitations
Calendar does that.
There are two ways:
Method 1: Add a link manually
Step 1:
Create an event from an Events board.
Step 2:
In the Description field, paste the Google Meet link.
Example:
https://meet.google.com/abc-defg-hij
Step 3:
Save the event.
Step 4:
Once synced, you will see that link directly in Google Calendar.
Method 2: Create the link from Google Calendar (alternative)
Step 1:
Create the event in Rembrr (no link).
This will sync with Google Calendar.
Step 2:
Open Google Calendar and select the event.
Step 3:
Tap “Add Google Meet meeting.”.
Google Calendar will add the link automatically.
Once synchronized:
The event in Calendar will show the link “Join with Google Meet”
Google Calendar will automatically add:
Rembrr's voice assistant can help you prepare for events with virtual meetings.
Example:
“Create an event tomorrow at 3 p.m.: virtual meeting with Carlos.”
Then you can edit the event to paste your Meet link.
In future versions, you will be able to say:
“Create a Google Meet meeting”
and the link will be generated automatically.
Always paste the link in the description field to ensure compatibility.
Open meetings from Google Calendar to avoid errors.
If you edit an event, check if the link is still valid.
Avoid duplicating links when copying/pasting multiple times.
